Gas Turbine Project

DEBAJ has been awarded the Electrical & Mechanical erection contract of Gas Turbine of Combined Cycle Power Plant from Iberdrola Ingenieria Y Construccion.   The project is a joint venture of Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation, Qatar Petroleum and Marubeni for the construction of 2000 MW power plant.

Iberdrola Ingenieria Y Construccion of Spain is the EPC contractor for this project where DEBAJ is the Mechanical & Electrical Contractor.

DEBAJ mechanial work scope includes

  • Installation of 6 Nos. Gas turbine
  • Installation of BOP Piping
  • Installation of Auxiliary Boiler

DEBAJ electrical work scope includes

  • Installation of 280MVA X 9 and 50 MVA X 2 Transformers & Accessories
  • Installation of 1100 Km of (MV, LV, I&C) Cables
  • Installation of IPB, MV Switchgear Cells, LV Switchgear panels, DCS/PLC panels
  • Installation of Batteries & UPS
  • Installation of 150 MT of structural supports
  • Installation of 20 KM Plant earthing, 36 KM Cable ways
